Michigan converts two red zones into 14 points while the Eagles were held to 3 points in their two red zones. Neither team scored off the other's turnover.

Denard Robinson was only 2 of 8 for 21 yards, a TD and an interception; however, he ran for 131 yards on 14 carries for the second TD. Vincent Smith had a big 38 yard run on his only carry plus he recovered Denard's fumble at the EMU 24. Offense has 218 yards, 197 on the ground and was only 1 of 6 on 3rd and 4th down conversions with three 3 and outs, 10 first downs, a turnover and two TD drives in their 6 first half possessions. Fitzgerald Touissaint had 28 yards in 6 carries and Kevin Koger had 2 catches for 21 yards and a TD.

Jordan Kovacs and Brandin Hawthorne led the defense with 7 tackles each. Thomas Gordon had 4 tackles, a fumble recovery and an interception. Jibreel Black forced a fumble on the first drive. EMU had 185 yards with 156 on the ground and was 3 of 9 on 3rd and 4th down conversions. Javonti Green has 75 yards on 20 carries. Alex Gillett is 3 of 4 for 29 yards, and gained another 61 yards on 8 carries.

Matt Wile looked bad with 3 punts for a 35 yard average. Gallon had a nice punt return to the EMU 12 negated by Ricardo Miller's block in the back.

Hopefully, we'll get to see our reserves in the second half and see a blow out, especially if we can get a TD on the first drive to start the 3rd quarter.
