Observations on the first half with Air Force, 14-10!

The Falcons convert three red zones into 10 points including 7 points off one Michigan turnover on Robinson's 3rd interception of the season.

Offense rolls to 253 yards in total offense, 11 first downs, 117 rushing and 136 passing. Denard Robinson scores on a 79 yard TD on the second offensive play of the game and nets 110 yards on 10 carries. Robinson was 9 of 13 for 136 yards, 1 TD and 1 interception. Devin Funchess catches 3 passes for 80 yards including a 30 yard TD. Devin Gardner has 3 catches for 36 yards. We were 3 of 5 in 3rd down conversions. Fitzgerald Touissaint had 7 yards in 6 carries.

Defense looked bad! Air Force gained 206 yards including 155 on the ground with 12 first downs, and a five minute time of possession advantage. They were 5 of 9 in 3rd down conversions. Jordan Kovacs, Kenny Demens and Jake Ryan had 7 tackles each to lead the defense. Connor Dietz was 5 of 7 for 51 yards. Cody Getz had 11 runs for 49 yards and a TD.

Special Teams didn't look good. Norfleet ran one back to the 19, and Jeremy Gallon lets a catchable punt go down to the 12 yard line giving up 20+ yards.

Second Half will be interesting. Air Force is playing over their mistakes. We are still not playing hungry. Go Blue!
