1-Big Twelve (36.00): Bowl Record: 5-3
Nebraska Big 12-N 18 6W-2L USC/Texas
Missouri Big 12-N 22 7W-1L Texas A&M
Kansas State Big 12-N 49 4W-4L Louisville/Baylor/Nebraska/Missouri
Iowa State Big 12-N 52 3W-4L Iowa/Texas/Nebraska/Oklahoma
Kansas Big 12-N 53 3W-4L Toledo/Nebraska/Texas A&M/Oklahoma St.
Colorado Big 12-N 68 1W-7L Arizona State/Colorado State/Montana State/Georgia/Missouri/Baylor/Oklahoma
Texas Big 12-S 5 7W-1L Ohio State
Oklahoma Big 12-S 19 4W-2L Oregon/Texas
Texas A&M Big 12-S 21 7W-1L Texas Tech
Texas Tech Big 12-S 34 5W-3L TCU/Missouri/Colorado
Baylor Big 12-S 43 4W-4L TCU/Washington State/Army/Texas
Oklahoma State Big 12-S 48 4W-3L Houston/Kansas St./Texas A&M

If Texas wins out, they could set up a re-match with Ohio State in the BCS title game or a rematch of the 2005 Rose Bowl with Michigan. Texas plays rival Texas A&M at home. Big Twelve title game looks like the Texas/Texas A&M winner against the Missouri/Nebraska winner. Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Kansas State and Iowa State scramble to be bowl eligible for the Alamo, Insight, Texas and Independence Bowls (or even the Gator Bowl if the Big East has two BCS teams) after the BCS-Fiesta and Cotton Bowl berths are decided.

2-SEC-Southeastern(37.16): Bowl Record: 3-3
Florida Southeastern-E 8 6W-1L Auburn
Tennessee Southeastern-E 10 6W-1L Florida
Georgia Southeastern-E 27 6W-2L Tennessee/Vanderbilt
South Carolina Southeastern-E 31 5W-2L Georgia/Auburn
Kentucky Southeastern-E 65 3W-4L Louisville/Florida/South Carolina/LSU
Vanderbilt Southeastern-E 83 3W-5L Michigan/Alabama/Arkansas/Mississippi/South Carolina
Arkansas Southeastern-W 6 6W-1L USC
Auburn Southeastern-W 7 7W-1L Arkansas
LSU Southeastern-W 13 4W-2L Auburn/Florida
Alabama Southeastern-W 26 5W-3L Arkansas/Florida/Tennessee
Mississippi Southeastern-W 79 2W-6L Missouri/Kentucky/Wake Forest/Georgia/Alabama/Arkansas
Mississippi State Southeastern-W 91 2W-6L Tulane/Auburn/South Carolina/LSU/West Virginia/Georgia

The SEC title game looks to pit Florida or Tennessee against Arkansas, Auburn or even LSU. The SEC could get two teams to the BCS under this new format; winner to Sugar, loser to Rose, Fiesta or Orange much to the chagrin of the Cotton Bowl. The Bowl spots open for Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina will depend on what those top 5 teams do after the Sugar, Cotton and other BCS spot are decided. The Capital One, Outback, Peach, Music City and Independence are all possibilities.

3-PAC 10-Pacific Athletic Conference(40.03): Bowl Record: 3-2; 1 undefeated team
USC Pacific 10 2 6W-0L None
California Pacific 10 14 7W-1L Tennessee
Washington State Pacific 10 25 5W-3L Auburn/USC/California
Oregon State Pacific 10 35 4W-3L Boise State/California/Washington St.
Washington Pacific 10 37 4W-4L Oklahoma/USC/Oregon St./California
Oregon Pacific 10 38 5W-2L California/Washington St.
UCLA Pacific 10 42 4W-3L Washington/Oregon/Notre Dame
Arizona State Pacific 10 44 4W-3L California/Oregon/USC
Arizona Pacific 10 60 3W-5L LSU/USC/Washington/UCLA/Oregon St.
Stanford Pacific 10 106 0W-8L Oregon/Navy/San Jose State/Washington State/UCLA/Notre Dame/Arizona/Arizona St.

If USC wins out, they are in the BCS title game against the Michigan-Ohio State winner; that is, unless their arch-rival, the California Golden Bears upset them again. They also play Oregon and Notre Dame at home, and UCLA in the Rose Bowl. The Pac-10 could get two teams into the BCS if Cal beats USC; Cal to the Rose and USC to the Sugar, Fiesta or Orange. The Oregon-Oregon State and Washington-Washington State winners will determine the spots for the Holiday, Sun, Emerald, Las Vegas and Hawaii Bowls.

4-Big Ten (43.09): Bowl Record: 3-4; 2 undefeated teams
Ohio State Big Ten 1 8W-0L None
Michigan Big Ten 3 8W-0L None
Wisconsin Big Ten 9 7W-1L Michigan
Iowa Big Ten 32 5W-3L Ohio State/Indiana/Michigan
Penn State Big Ten 41 5W-3L Notre Dame/Ohio State/Michigan
Purdue Big Ten 46 5W-3L Notre Dame/Iowa/Wisconsin
Minnesota Big Ten 62 3W-5L California/Purdue/Michigan/Penn State/Wisconsin
Indiana Big Ten 66 4W-4L Southern Illinois/Connecticut/Wisconsin/Ohio State
Illinois Big Ten 69 2W-6L Rutgers/Syracuse/Indiana/Iowa/Ohio Univ./Penn State
Michigan State Big Ten 70 4W-4L Notre Dame/Illinois/Michigan/Ohio St.
Northwestern Big Ten 75 2W-6L New Hampshire/Nevada/Penn State/Wisconsin/Purdue/Michigan State

It looks like the winner of Michigan-Ohio State in Columbus has the best chance of making the BCS title game; the loser should still qualify for a second BCS game: Fiesta, Orange, Rose or Sugar. Wisconsin and Iowa look to get the Capital One and Outback bids with Purdue, Penn State, Michigan State and Indiana looking to be Bowl eligible to take the Alamo, Champs, Insight and Motor City spots.

5-ACC-Atlantic Coast (44.00): Bowl Record: 5-3
Boston College Atlantic Coast-A 16 6W-1L North Carolina State
Clemson Atlantic Coast-A 17 7W-1L Boston College
Wake Forest Atlantic Coast-A 23 6W-1L Clemson
Florida State Atlantic Coast-A 28 4W-3L Clemson/North Carolina State/Boston College
Maryland Atlantic Coast-A 33 5W-2L West Virginia/Georgia Tech
North Carolina State Atlantic Coast-A 57 3W-4L Akron/Southern Mississippi/Wake Forest/Maryland
Georgia Tech Atlantic Coast-C 24 5W-2L Notre Dame/Clemson
Miami-Florida Atlantic Coast-C 29 5W-2L Florida State/Louisville
Virginia Tech Atlantic Coast-C 30 5W-2L Georgia Tech/Boston College
North Carolina Atlantic Coast-C 76 1W-6L Rutgers/Virginia Tech/Clemson/Miami-FL/South Florida/Virginia
Virginia Atlantic Coast-C 87 3W-5L Pittsburgh/Georgia Tech/Western Michigan/East Carolina/Maryland
Duke Atlantic Coast-C 108 0W-7L Virginia Tech/Wake Forest/Richmond/Virginia/Alabama/Florida St./Miami-FL

ACC will play the role of spoiler with no undefeated teams. One team in the BCS, and the #2 team to the Gator unless Notre Dame get the nod for the Gator. The title game looks to be the Boston College/Clemson against Georgia Tech. Other teams looking to be Bowl eligible include Wake Forest, Miami-Florida, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Florida State as the spots for the Peach, Champs, Music City, Meinke, Emerald and MPC Computer Bowls are decided.

6-Big East (46.29): Bowl Record: 1-3; 3 undefeated teams
Louisville Big East 4 7W-0L None
West Virginia Big East 11 7W-0L None
Rutgers Big East 20 6W-0L None
Pittsburgh Big East 36 6W-2L Michigan State/Rutgers
Syracuse Big East 54 3W-5L Iowa/Wake Forest/Pittsburgh/West Virginia/Louisville
South Florida Big East 58 5W-2L Kansas/Rutgers
Connecticut Big East 61 3W-4L Wake Forest/Navy/South Florida/West Virginia
Cincinnati Big East 80 3W-4L Ohio State/Pittsburgh/Virginia Tech/Louisville

Three undefeated teams won't last long in this league. Louisville plays West Virginia at home, and could sneak into the BCS title game if USC loses to Cal. One Big East team, Louisville/West Virginia/Rutgers, goes to the BCS, the #2 team will go the Gator or Meinke with Pittsburgh and South Florida looking to go the Sun, Texas, Birmingham or the new International Bowl.

7--Independents (66.00): Bowl Record: 1-1
Notre Dame Independent 12 7W-1L Michigan
Navy Independent 40 5W-2L Tulsa/Rutgers
Army Independent 93 3W-5L Arkansas State/Texas A&M/Rice/Connecticut/TCU
Temple Independent 119 0W-8L Buffalo/Louisville/Minnesota/Western Michigan/Vanderbilt/Kent St./Clemson/Northern Illinois

Notre Dame must win out to make a BCS game, this includes beating USC to knock them out of a BCS title game. Otherwise, it looks like the Gator or Sun Bowl for the Irish. Navy may have an inside track for the Armed Services Bowl.
