1-Big Twelve (36.00): Bowl Record: 5-3
Nebraska Big 12-N 26 7W-3L USC/Texas/Oklahoma St.
Missouri Big 12-N 29 7W-3L Texas A&M/Oklahoma/Nebraska
Kansas State Big 12-N 40 6W-4L Louisville/Baylor/Nebraska/Missouri
Kansas Big 12-N 55 5W-5L Toledo/Nebraska/Texas A&M/Oklahoma St./Baylor
Colorado Big 12-N 76 1W-9L Arizona State/Colorado State/Montana State/Georgia/Missouri/Baylor/Oklahoma/Kansas/Kansas St.
Iowa State Big 12-N 86 3W-7L Iowa/Texas/Nebraska/Oklahoma/Kansas St./Texas Tech/Kansas
Texas Big 12-S 4 9W-1L Ohio State
Oklahoma Big 12-S 17 7W-2L Texas/Oregon
Texas A&M Big 12-S 21 8W-2L Texas Tech/Oklahoma
Texas Tech Big 12-S 36 6W-4L TCU/Missouri/Colorado/Texas
Baylor Big 12-S 49 4W-6L TCU/Washington State/Army/Texas/Texas A&M/Texas Tech
Oklahoma State Big 12-S 51 5W-4L Houston/Kansas St./Texas A&M/Texas

If Texas wins out, they could set up a re-match with Ohio State in the BCS title game or a rematch of the 2005 Rose Bowl with Michigan. Texas plays rival Texas A&M at home. Big Twelve title game looks like the Texas/Texas A&M winner against the Missouri/Nebraska winner. Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Baylor, Oklahoma State, Kansas and Kansas State scramble to be bowl eligible for the Alamo, Insight, Texas and Independence Bowls (or even the Gator Bowl if the Big East has two BCS teams) after the BCS-Fiesta and Cotton Bowl berths are decided.

2-SEC-Southeastern(37.16): Bowl Record: 3-3
Florida Southeastern-E 10 8W-1L Auburn
Tennessee Southeastern-E 12 7W-2L Florida/LSU
South Carolina Southeastern-E 35 5W-4L Georgia/Auburn/Tennessee/Arkansas
Georgia Southeastern-E 37 6W-4L Tennessee/Vanderbilt/Florida/Kentucky
Kentucky Southeastern-E 43 5W-4L Louisville/Florida/South Carolina/LSU
Vanderbilt Southeastern-E 84 4W-6L Michigan/Alabama/Arkansas/Mississippi/South Carolina/Florida
Arkansas Southeastern-W 8 8W-1L USC
Auburn Southeastern-W 9 9W-1L Arkansas
LSU Southeastern-W 11 7W-2L Auburn/Florida
Alabama Southeastern-W 32 6W-4L Arkansas/Florida/Tennessee/Mississippi State
Mississippi Southeastern-W 79 3W-7L Missouri/Kentucky/Wake Forest/Georgia/Alabama/Arkansas/Auburn
Mississippi State Southeastern-W 88 3W-7L Tulane/Auburn/South Carolina/LSU/West Virginia/Georgia/Kentucky

The SEC title game looks to pit Florida or Tennessee against Arkansas, Auburn or even LSU. The SEC could get two teams to the BCS under this new format; winner to Sugar, loser to Rose, Fiesta or Orange much to the chagrin of the Cotton Bowl. The Bowl spots open for Alabama, Georgia and South Carolina will depend on what those top 5 teams do after the Sugar, Cotton and other BCS spot are decided. The Capital One, Outback, Peach, Music City and Independence are all possibilities.

3-PAC 10-Pacific Athletic Conference(40.03): Bowl Record: 3-2
USC Pacific 10 7 7W-1L Oregon State
California Pacific 10 14 8W-1L Tennessee
Oregon State Pacific 10 23 6W-3L Boise State/California/Washington St.
Oregon Pacific 10 25 7W-2L California/Washington St.
Washington State Pacific 10 31 6W-4L Auburn/USC/California/Arizona
Arizona State Pacific 10 39 5W-4L California/Oregon/USC/Oregon St.
Washington Pacific 10 44 4W-6L Oklahoma/USC/Oregon St./California/Arizona St./Oregon
UCLA Pacific 10 45 4W-5L Washington/Oregon/Notre Dame/Washington St./California
Arizona Pacific 10 47 4W-5L LSU/USC/Washington/UCLA/Oregon St.
Stanford Pacific 10 109 0W-9L Oregon/San Jose St./Navy/Washington St./UCLA/Notre Dame/Arizona/Arizona St./USC

USC-California winner gets the Rose Bowl; loser is in the Holiday Bowl unless the PAC-10 gets two in the BCS. Cal to the Rose and USC to the Sugar, Fiesta or Orange if USC beats Notre Dame. The Oregon-Oregon State, Arizona-Arizona State and Washington-Washington State winners will determine the spots for the Holiday, Sun, Emerald, Las Vegas and Hawaii Bowls.

4-Big Ten (43.09): Bowl Record: 3-4; 2 undefeated teams
Ohio State Big Ten 1 10W-0L None
Michigan Big Ten 2 10W-0L None
Wisconsin Big Ten 6 9W-1L Michigan
Penn State Big Ten 41 6W-4L Notre Dame/Ohio State/Michigan/Wisconsin
Iowa Big Ten 46 6W-4L Ohio State/Indiana/Michigan/Northwestern
Purdue Big Ten 48 6W-4L Notre Dame/Iowa/Wisconsin/Penn St.
Minnesota Big Ten 67 4W-6L California/Purdue/Michigan/Penn State/Wisconsin/Ohio St.
Indiana Big Ten 69 5W-5L Southern Illinois/Connecticut/Wisconsin/Ohio State/Minnesota
Illinois Big Ten 71 2W-8L Rutgers/Syracuse/Indiana/Iowa/Ohio Univ./Penn State/Wisconsin/Ohio St.
Michigan State Big Ten 73 4W-6L Notre Dame/Illinois/Michigan/Ohio St./Indiana/Purdue
Northwestern Big Ten 80 3W-7L New Hampshire/Nevada/Penn State/Wisconsin/Purdue/Michigan State/Michigan

It looks like the winner of Michigan-Ohio State in Columbus has the best chance of making the BCS title game; the loser should still qualify for a second BCS game: Fiesta, Orange, Rose or Sugar. Wisconsin and Penn State look to get the Capital One and Outback bids with Purdue, Iowa, and Indiana looking to be Bowl eligible to take the Alamo, Champs and Insight spots. The Motor City will have to fill their spot elsewhere.

5-ACC-Atlantic Coast (44.00): Bowl Record: 5-3
Wake Forest Atlantic Coast-A 16 8W-1L Clemson
Boston College Atlantic Coast-A 19 7W-2L North Carolina State/Wake Forest
Maryland Atlantic Coast-A 22 7W-2L West Virginia/Georgia Tech
Clemson Atlantic Coast-A 27 7W-3L Boston College/Virginia Tech/Maryland
Florida State Atlantic Coast-A 30 5W-4L Clemson/North Carolina State/Boston College/Maryland
North Carolina State Atlantic Coast-A 64 3W-6L Akron/Southern Mississippi/Wake Forest/Maryland/Virginia/Georgia Tech
Georgia Tech Atlantic Coast-C 20 7W-2L Notre Dame/Clemson
Virginia Tech Atlantic Coast-C 24 7W-2L Georgia Tech/Boston College
Miami-Florida Atlantic Coast-C 28 5W-4L Florida State/Louisville/Georgia Tech/Virginia Tech
Virginia Atlantic Coast-C 62 4W-6L Pittsburgh/Georgia Tech/Western Michigan/East Carolina/Maryland/Florida St.
North Carolina Atlantic Coast-C 77 1W-8L Rutgers/Virginia Tech/Clemson/Miami-FL/South Florida/Virginia/Wake Forest/Notre Dame
Duke Atlantic Coast-C 111 0W-9L Virginia Tech/Wake Forest/Richmond/Virginia/Alabama/Florida St./Miami-FL/Vanderbilt/Navy

ACC will play the role of spoiler with no undefeated teams. One team in the BCS, and the #2 team to the Gator unless Notre Dame get the nod for the Gator. The title game looks to be the Boston College/Clemson/Wake Forest against Georgia Tech. Other teams looking to be Bowl eligible include Miami-Florida, Virginia Tech, Maryland and Florida State as the spots for the Peach, Champs, Music City, Meinke, Emerald and MPC Computer Bowls are decided.

6-Big East (46.29): Bowl Record: 1-3; 2 undefeated teams
Louisville Big East 3 8W-0L None
West Virginia Big East 13 7W-1L Louisville
Rutgers Big East 18 8W-0L None
Pittsburgh Big East 54 6W-3L Michigan State/Rutgers/South Florida
Cincinnati Big East 56 5W-4L Ohio State/Pittsburgh/Virginia Tech/Louisville
South Florida Big East 61 6W-3L Kansas/Rutgers/Cincinnati
Connecticut Big East 66 3W-5L Wake Forest/Navy/South Florida/West Virginia/Rutgers
Syracuse Big East 81 3W-6L Iowa/Wake Forest/Pittsburgh/West Virginia/Louisville/Cincinnati

Three undefeated teams won't last long in this league. Louisville plays West Virginia at home, and could sneak into the BCS title game if USC loses to Cal. One Big East team, Louisville/West Virginia/Rutgers, goes to the BCS, the #2 team will go the Gator or Meinke with Pittsburgh and South Florida looking to go the Sun, Texas, Birmingham or the new International Bowl.

7--Independents (66.00): Bowl Record: 1-1
Notre Dame Independent 5 8W-1L Michigan
Navy Independent 42 6W-3L Tulsa/Rutgers/Notre Dame
Army Independent 95 3W-7L Arkansas State/Texas A&M/Rice/Connecticut/TCU/Tulane/Air Force
Temple Independent 115 1W-9L Buffalo/Louisville/Minnesota/Western Michigan/Vanderbilt/Kent St./Clemson/Northern Illinois/CMU

Notre Dame must win out to make a BCS game, this includes beating USC to knock them out of a BCS title game. Otherwise, it looks like the Gator or Sun Bowl for the Irish. Navy may have an inside track for the Armed Services Bowl.

BYU Mountain West 33 7W-2L Arizona/Boston College
TCU Mountain West 34 6W-2L BYU/Utah

BYU has the inside track to the Las Vegas Bowl with the Poinsettia, Armed Forces and New Mexico Bowls ready to select from Wyoming, TCU, Utah, Air Force, New Mexico or Colorado State.
