Observations on the first half with Ohio State, 7-24!

Ohio State converts three red zones into 10 points while we earn two red zones and only earn 7 points. Ohio State gets 3 points off 2 Michigan turnovers, and Michigan gets a turnover to end the half.

Offense nets 258 yards, 15 first downs and was 5 of 11 in 3rd and 4th down conversions; however, they come up with only 7 points. Denard Robinson rushed 15 times for 101 yards, Michael Shaw has 49 yards on 6 carries for a TD and Vincent Smith had 8 carries for 17 yards. Both Robinson and Smith turned the ball over on fumbles, and Robinson's was in the red zone. Darryl Stonum as 3 catches for 43 yards, Roy Roundtree has 4 catches for 34 yards. Robinson was 7 of 15 for 76 yards, and Forcier came in and was 2 for 2 for 15 yards. Cameron Heyward and Brian Rolle have 6 tackles each for the Buckeyes, Ross Homan has 5 tackles including a forced fumble. Orhian Johnson forced the other fumble.

Defense started well forcing the Buckeyes into two three and outs, but Terrell Pryor made plays. Pryor had 8 rushes for 29 yards, and was 15 of 21 for 196 yards and 2 TDs. Dane Sanzenbacher had 3 catches for 71 yards and a TD. Devier Posey had 4 catches for 61 yards and a TD. Jake Stoneburner had 3 catches for 33 yards. Jordan Kovacs led the defense with 8 tackles and an interception. Jonas Mouton had 6 tackles and forced a fumble that the Buckeyes recovered. Kenny Demens and Cameron Gordon have 4 tackles each. Ryan VanBergen got a red zone sack. The Buckeyes have 229 yards in total offense, 10 first downs and are 6 of 10 in 3rd down efficiency.

Special Teams are a real joke. Will Hagerup doesn't make the trip for violation of team rules, and Seth Broekhuisen punt an 18 yarder in his first and only attempt. We watch Jordan Hall take back an 85 yard kickoff return after we drove the field to make the game 10-7.

We get the ball to start the second half, and we must get a TD and several Buckeye second half turnovers to make this one close; otherwise, we'll see another laugher.
