Defense was great! Minnesota never even entered our territory, and only had 4 first downs. They had 6 possessions, three 3 and outs, 4 punts and a forced fumble by Blake Countess. Craig Roh had 4 tackles including a sack. Ryan VanBergen and Jake Ryan also had sacks. Minnesota had a net of 69 yards, 25 on the ground and was zero of 5 on 3rd down conversions. Max Shortell is 5 of 7 for 44 yards.

Matt Wile had 6 kickoffs and 3 touchbacks. Brendon Gibbons hit all five extra points and his only field goal attempt.

What a great day to play all our reserves who are not redshirting. Go Blue!!!
