Penn State converted two red zones into 10 points; Michigan converted one red zone into 7 points. The Nittany Lions gained 3 points off one Wolverine turnover; both teams had two "3 and outs."

Offense continues its poor play! Michigan could only muster 5 first downs with 151 net yards on 24 plays while the Nittany Lions dominated time of possession with an 8 minute advantage resulting in 20 more offensive plays. Cade McNamara was 5 of 8 for 31 yards; team was 2 of 7 in 3rd and 4th down conversions. Hassan Haskins ran 9 times for 81 yards and a TD. Chris Evans ran 3 times for 21 yards. Ronnie Bell caught 3 passes for 34 yards.

Defense are paperweights! Penn State gained 15 first downs with 241 yards in 45 plays with 131 on the ground; the Nittany Lions were 3 of 8 in 3rd down conversions. Sean Clifford was 11 of 20 for 110 yards and ran 3 times for 40 yards including a 28 yard TD romp. Keyvone Lee gained 54 yards in 12 carries. Parker Washington had 7 receptions for 79 yards almost always covered by Daxton Hill who continues to disappoint in coverage. Hill led the defense with 9 tackles while Josh Ross had 7.

Special Teams were terrible. Mike Sainristil muffed a punt for the turnover that resulted in 3 points for Penn State. Both teams punted 3 times; Brad Robbins average was 34.7 yards with a long punt of 40 yards.

Second Half will probably be all Penn State! This team is so bad we'll get beat at home by a 0-5 team. Poor preparation, poor coaching, poor schemes, poor execution, poor attitude, etc. are all present with this season's Wolverines with no fire in their eyes as per their leader, Jim Harbaugh. This team will finish 2-6.
