Observations on the first half with Nebraska, 17-17

Nebraska gained two red zones, but came up with 3 points; Michigan had no red zones. The Wolverines scored 7 points off one Cornhusker turnover, and Nebraska scored 3 points off one Michigan turnover.

Offense gained 195 total yards with 154 on the ground, and 6 first downs; they were zero for four in 3rd down conversions. Bryce Underwood was 5 of 8 for 41 yards, and ran 4 times for 45 yards and a TD. Justice Haynes scored on a 75 yard TD, and ran 7 times for 102 yards; he also had a 3 yard loss on a reception. Semaj Morgan caught a 16 yard pass. Nebraska dominated the time of possession by 10 minutes that gave them 21 more offensive plays. James Wright has 5 tackles for Nebraska.

Defense gave up 253 net yards with 210 in the air including a 52 yard "Hail Mary" with one second to go in the half. Jacory Barney caught 4 passes for 96 yards and 2 TDs. Dominic Raiola hit 14 of 20 for 210 yards with 2 TDs and one interception; he was sacked 4 times for 32 yards. Emmett Johnson ran 14 times for 54 yards, but the Huskers netted only 43 yards due to the sacks. They were 3 of 9 in 3rd and 4th down conversions. Luke Lindenmeyer caught 4 passes for 40 yards. Ernest Hausmann led the defense with 7 tackles; Cole Sullivan had 5 tackles pls and interception.

Special Teams were bad. Two punts for a 36.5 yard average. We hit our field goal, but gave up a 23 yard punt return.

Second Half should be interesting! It is all momentum, and either team could grab it. Go Blue!
