Two Falcon quarterbacks hit 11 of 16 passes for 108 yards to five different receivers with an end zone drop that would have been a touchdown. Bowling Green dominated time of possession by 5 minutes, and that resulted in 6 more offensive plays. Mike Sainristil had a sack and 3 tackles, and Keon Sabb, Josh Wallace and Michael Barrett also had 3 tackles to lead the defense. Cam Goode also had a sack, and Quentin Johnson got his first interception. Defense forced 3 punts and a turnover plus stopped a red zone opportunity by the Falcons.
Special Teams were terrible! A fumble by Max Bredeson ended in a turnover on a kickoff, and another fumble by Braiden McGregor was nearly recovered by the Falcons. Good strategy by Coach Loeffler!!! Tommy Doman hit all kickoffs for touchbacks, and punted once for 47 yards for one downed inside the 20. Jake Thaw and Tyler Morris had two punt returns for 6 and 22 yards.
Second Half should be a much better performance! Go Blue!
