Southern California has the most men's individual NCAA titles with 302 (111 in track & field and 112 in swimming and diving), followed by Michigan with 258 (160 in swimming and diving which is the most in any NCAA Team Sport), Stanford has 259 (142 in swimming and diving), Ohio State has 219 (118 in swimming and diving) and UCLA has 162 individual titles. Wisconsin earned 38 Individual and 5 Team NCAA Championships in Men's Boxing prior to the sport being dropped for safety reasons in 1960.
