Big Ten Champs in Women's Field Hockey, Gymnastics, Softball and Men's Soccer and Swimming for the 2010-2011 season. Women's Tennis won the Big Ten regular season championship, and made the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Both Kylee Botterman and Sam Michalak earned the NCAA Championships in All-Around for Gymnastics. Kellen Russell won the NCAA Wrestling Championship. Women's Gymnastics finished 6th in NCAA finals, Men's Gymnastics was 5th in NCAA Finals, Men's Swimming finished 9th at NCAA Finals, Men's Golf won its first ever Regional, Men's Soccer made the NCAA Semi-Finals and Men's Hockey was NCAA Runner-up. Abdel Khalik, Ryan Feeley, Sean Fletcher, Neal Kennedy, Dan Madwed, Miguel Ortiz, Sean Ryan and Kyle Whitaker made All-American in Men's Swimming. Natalie Beilstein, Kylee Botterman, Sarah Curtis, Brittnee Martinez, Trish Wilson and Katie Zurales earned All-American honors for the Women's Gymnastics team. Alex Hunt and Lexi Zimmerman earned All-American honors for the Women's Volleyball team. Carl Hagelin earned All-American for the Hockey team. Jordan Taylor earned All-American for the Softball team. Paige Laytos, Rachel Mack and Meredith Way earned All-American honors for the Field Hockey team. Adam Hammers, Ian Makowski and Sam Mikulak earned All-American honors for the Men's Gymnastics team. Soony Saad earned All-American for the Men's Soccer team. Evan King made All-American for the Men's Tennis team. Jillian Smitha and Rebecca Allison earned All-American for the Women's Track Team. Men's Basketball Star, Sophomore Darius Morris, may be a 1st round draft choice in the NBA on June 23rd. Men's Golf Star, Lion Kim, was medalist for the NCAA Regional and competed at The Master's (missed the cut after two rounds +4), the third Wolverine since Chuck Kocis (1937) and Bill Newcomb (1963) to do so. Kim led Michigan to the NCAA Semi-Finals in 2009, and he finished 3rd at the NCAA Finals in 2011 while he led the team to a 10th place finish.
