Why isn't Michigan a better golf program??? They have one of the best facilities in the United States, but only pay their Head Golf Coach $92,150 per season; there are at least 12 Head NCAA Golf Coaches in America earning over $300,000 per season. Golf is not a priority at the University of Michigan, and the Athletic Department including the Athletic Director has no interest in changing the culture into a Championship Program. The Women's Golf Coach earns more than the Men's Golf Coach.
